Pharmaceutical marketing industry trade PM360 recently hosted its annual Startup Pitch Challenge as part of its 2026 SPARK Transformation Summit in New York City. We’re proud to share that out of the four companies selected to present, the audience of marketers in the room chose The Rx Assistant as the winner of its startup competition.
Sage Khanuja, co-founder and president of The Rx Assistant, shared how the AI-powered platform helps pharma brands better engage with patients and HCPs by delivering clear answers to questions in one fluid omnichannel experience through voice (phone), text (SMS) and chat (web).

This recognition builds on momentum since the company’s commercial launch earlier this year. The platform is proven to help patients and HCPs connect brand information to action through real-time support, from benefit checks to provider lookup and patient enrollment, all done safely by only using a brand’s MLR-approved content.
Results with a pharmaceutical manufacturer showed a highly engaged audience using the platform:
- 74% were highly-qualified Rx seekers
- 70% of consumers found a prescriber
- 1 in 6 consumers inquired about coverage
